1. The service

FateChart generates astrology and 命理 charts — such as BaZi (Four Pillars), Zi Wei Dou Shu and Western natal charts — from the birth data you provide, and produces AI-generated interpretations of those charts.

2. Astrology disclaimer — for entertainment and self-reflection only

FateChart is provided for entertainment, cultural interest and personal self-reflection only. Astrology and 命理 systems such as BaZi, Zi Wei Dou Shu and Western natal charts are traditions of belief and cultural practice, not scientifically proven methods of prediction. Charts and interpretations describe symbolic possibilities; they do not state facts about your past, present or future.

All readings and AI-generated interpretations are NOT professional, medical, psychological, legal, financial or relationship advice, and must not be relied upon as a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. We make no guarantee as to the accuracy, reliability or completeness of any chart, reading or interpretation, and no guarantee about any fortune, prediction, outcome, event or result. You make your own decisions and are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on the service.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to use the service (at least 16, or 13 where local law permits with appropriate consent). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Credits and payments

Some features require credits or a subscription. Payments are processed by our payment provider Creem.io; by purchasing you also agree to any applicable terms of that provider. Credits and paid features grant access to chart generation and AI interpretations only. We do not guarantee any fortune, prediction accuracy or real-world outcome from any reading. Pricing and credit costs may change for future purchases. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including: attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer it; using it to harass, deceive or harm others; submitting unlawful content; scraping or bulk-extracting content; or reselling outputs as professional advisory services. We may limit or suspend access for misuse.

6. Intellectual property

FateChart, including its software, design, text, branding and chart-engine logic, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your personal, non-commercial purposes. Your birth data remains yours; you grant us the limited licence needed to compute and display your charts and interpretations to you.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on AI-generated interpretations. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction have non-exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you additional rights.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take additional steps where required. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
