How to Calculate Your Life Path Number from Your Birth Date
The rule: reduce each part of your birth date (day, month, year) to a single digit or a master number, then add and reduce again.
Worked example — born 15 June 1995 (15-06-1995):
- Day: 1 + 5 = 6
- Month: June = 06 → 6
- Year: 1 + 9 + 9 + 5 = 24 → 2 + 4 = 6
- Add the three results: 6 + 6 + 6 = 18 → 1 + 8 = 9

Use the full name exactly as written on your birth certificate — numerologists treat that original name as the one that carries your chart, even if you go by a nickname or changed your name later.
What About Master Numbers 11, 22 and 33?
The numbers 11, 22 and 33 are never reduced further. Tradition reads them as "higher octave" versions of 2, 4 and 6 — the same themes with more voltage and more difficulty. An 11 Life Path carries the sensitivity of a 2 with added intensity; a 22 is called the Master Builder; a 33 the Master Teacher. If your birth date sums to one of these at the final step, your Life Path is the master number.
